Bare with me here lol
It is a very âexistential crisisâ-esque short story but a very good one at that. It makes one think of what we see as a valuable being, or even as a human, tackles what we do to other beings and how heavily do we take others lives in consideration and the power of emotions as a whole.
Although being very complex, on its face itâs an amazing story on a post-apocalyptic world with very few characters. Itâs one of my favorites.
This one is a short story by Harlan Ellisonâ Iâve only read it once, but that was enough bc it still makes me feel sick to my stomach just thinking about it.
For sure I have no mouth and I must scream. Disturbing but it makes you think and it's really short, lots of fandom content if you wanted more after a read too.
A rather experimental but thoughtful short story collection that at times brings up more questions than it gives answers (which is exactly what a short story should do) It also features the post apocalyptic science fiction classic âa boy and his dogâ
After the new years and all the partying, and being with people, and going out, and stuff itâs so hard to get back to normal life for some reason. I just feel so drained physically I barely can think or do anything.
Tried to do laundry and halfway through Iâm just exhausted. Like, I donât normally have this, its pretty new to me to feel this way.
I guess I really need a day to just rot and do nothing before I go back to being alive again.
Awesome to catch that and realize my limits on my own body lol but awful to actually go through it.
