I know you're a jeff buckley fan so i'm sure you've heard this one. if you haven't i would check it out. him and elizabeth fraser (of the cocteau twins) made this beautiful masterpiece, it always makes me feel that gut wrenching feeling of doom and loneliness because it's so bittersweet

everytime i watch this video i start to bawl my eyes out. you can tell from just the way he pronounces those urdu words how much that qawwali means to him and how much time he has devoted listening to nusrat fateh ali khan. craziest white boy to ever do it. ❤️ jeff buckley ❤️ nusrat fateh ali khan
