Back on tarot after getting a reading and picking up a couple decks (plus my first oracle deck) in New Orleans. How do you use tarot in your life? What’re some of your favorite resources?

The biggest hurdle is knowing generally what the cards mean and what theme they are associated with. After that it helps to practice as much as possible, maybe pull a card a day until they become familiar. Eventually you’ll develop your own interpretations. I collect decks but am still on the journey of getting familiar with each one and their meanings.

Funny, I was thinking about making a post on this!
I first started back in 2010. I was in an abusive relationship, and every. Single. Reading. I pulled the tower card (Iykyk).
I’ve been practicing consistently since. My favorite deck is the Vision Quest Tarot Deck, though I have many. I read for myself, and I love reading for others (most recently someone on here! 💗). I see it as a channel and it is a gift to be the conduit. I’ve always felt very connected to spirit and have some other practices I keep close to the vest. It’s been lovely connecting and growing with it.

I read my cards for the first time in a while and they were scarily accurate to my situation. The celtic cross spread is probably my new go to. Also, any tarot reading tips are appreciated. :)

i love drawing daily cards from either from my tarot or oracle card decks for journal prompts. it gives me something to take with me into my day and something to write/reflect on when I’m journaling. i find the messages provide helpful insights and perspectives on my current life :) ✨🌙

I usually just make myself drip coffee or a single cup of tea during the week but I’ve got a little time so why not make a whole tea service just for me

It just gives it that extra little umph. Like what was a late night snack is now a self-care ritual.
