Awesome new artist I’m LOVING right now. He just put out his self titled album on Mac Demarco’s label and sounds like Domi & JD Beck, Doobie Brothers and a light sprinkle of shoegaze in the first track there.

I know all these other recs were calming and mindful, but I thought I would put this out there cause I’m crazy obsessed. I’ve been his BIGGEST fan for a couple of years now, and knowing there’s more music coming up is the light of my life. If you have a minute, go listen to his new song basic being basic. If you have more than just a minute I would recommend listening to his other albums twenty twenty, and decide. On a broader note, go find new music! A fresh playlist always cheers me up.

Feels like he mixed Orville peck and dijon in a very new and fresh way. Been on repeat for 6 months and doesn’t get old.

I used to listen to him a lot more when i was younger, but i’ve been picking him back up recently along with steely dan. A bit hungover and laying like a cat on the warm concrete listening to Finally Alone and Hey Nineteen. This type of music is what girls who grew up on 70s yacht rock fw now a days. Grab yourself a friend w a boat, a day off from work, and a nice juicy watermelon slice.

Just got back to my mothers birthland for the first time in 9 years (Zambia) and I can’t recommend going back to your roots and touching grass enough 😭

Having physical things is just nice. Going analog with articles has a much more personal feel and there’s nothing like having a goated coffee table collection.

I genuinely believe Crack is the only music magazine on plant earth that has their finger on the pulse of what’s actually popping. Every cover interview is fantastic and relevant + I’m always put on to new artists that end up having an incredible year after being featured. The gig guide is 10/10 if you live in London and it’s also FREE every month.
