in my experience musicians know this album but it never seems to be recommended by classical or jazz fans - i love the sound of the sax ensemble tho and it's rly accessible and tuneful!
(also i rec'd this before but nikolai kapustin's etudes are fantastic piano music)

I‘ve started habitually putting my chapstick and a lighter in my little pocket. I also put my multivitamin in there if I haven’t eaten yet and am going to be out. In a bigger pocket, these things just shift around and leave a bump, but not the tiny one—it is secure.

One of my go-to bits is when a friend says something like “Should we get shots?” I’ll respond with a shrug and say “Hey, it is a Tuesday!” in an enthusiastic/neutral tone as though that means something in particular but it never does.

They are for any time of the day and are a good source of protein whether it is with eggs or tofu. They are the state bird of austin, Texas. The motto is “rise and grind, it’s breakfast taco time.” My favorite is a potato, egg, and cheese on a corn tortilla. Every place does them a little differently.
