at least for me! I can see the benefits of vinyl, but they are very big- and vinyl players take up a lot of room! CDs are easier to store and display… because they’re compact! Hence the name, I guess. Also you can buy cd walkmans. I used to have one as a child, but it broke and I had to get rid of it :( Hoping to get a new one at some point.

I love listening and buying CD's as they're much more accessible/cheaper than vinyl but they are still kinda cool. Also a form of decor like I put them on my shelves

This is coming from a guy that loves 60s and 70s rock and folk and owns like 100 something LPs. Get CDs instead, you can play them in cars, on stereo systems, and portable CD players. cleaner than tape with no warble or belts to worry about and easier to store than LPs, only downside is the art is small and usually no fun insert's. I’d only get your absolute favs on LP they are probably gonna be expensive (30-70 bucks compared to 5-30 for CDs) but having the big cover, often times lyric sheets or posters, and my favorite part the back cover you’ll NEVER see on steaming. Sound great and really make you feel like you own a substantial part of the music. make sure you have shelves deep and tall enough for records too if you buy them. media Trade stores are the best if you aren’t already looking there. TLDR: CDs for practicality LPs for gems

vinyl is too expensive now so ive been collecting cds, it’s nice to have cds because my car is old and I have a cd player so they actually do get used. I don’t listen to my vinyls much at all but they looked cool on my wall at my apartments. Glad I’m getting practical use out of the cds 🥹

I think it’d be fun, rather delusional of me. It’d probably drive me to an early grave due to the stress.

As someone who often falls into burnout and creative slumps with my art and animation, I find that taking a little step out of your comfort zone and trying something different really helps! It can be a different medium, a different style, etc. as long as you’re doing something creative. Oftentimes what gets me out of my slumps is switching from digital to traditional art, and also doing a bit of writing! I always return reinvigorated and full of ideas.

I’m not much of a photographer and take most of my photos on my phone- usually for memories or art reference. But, a lot of the photos I took in Japan last year were beautiful- and this one was my favourite! A lovely deer, posing in front of the temple in Nara Park :)
