Rec'd on 📚 how do you arrange your book shelves?

Thank you allstnyc Here's the look. I know I'll have to rearrange them in some other way eventually 'cause I'm running out of space and they won't fit+these are not all of my books. Some of them are in the tbr pile and some I’m reading now, but it certainly gave them a new look. The only ones I couldn't bring myself to arrange that way, were the ones that had the same author (see at the very end, second shelf). I cannot bear to see them apart 😔 they belong together👩‍❤️‍💋‍👨. I also had to put biographies horizontally because they wouldn't fit lol

This made me realize I need to re-organize these

My husband and I are big readers. We have three more bookshelves and a whole closet full of books. Idk how closely you can see, but we have a whole shelf of just tarot decks. I don’t typically buy anymore, I just borrow from the library and keep a log of books I’ve read in case I want to own or gift them.

Height

If you need more space, mine are in rough genre across 5 shelves but arranged in height order, so the hardbacks are on one side and the paperbacks on the other, then I slot more books on top of the paperbacks Alternate shelf by shelf, with the stacks you have for the too tall books to break it up
