The concept and the storyline makes it a really great book in my opinion. Itβs post apocalyptic but anti survival. The main protagonist has no memory of before the disaster so is completely unattached to the idea of the world so has to create her own in an almost barren landscape. Poses some really interesting questions on existence.

I have just started reading this book. But it already has a tight grip on my heart. Maybe I'm particularly fragile right now, but so often women are barely real people in media but these women?? these women feel real, like me or like someone who's looked into my mind, is holding my soul. Mythology was always cool but so violently male centered that it burned but this is mythology from the other side and it's so real.
