For me, S.O.L.E. is a Thai band thatās really worth listening to. This album, especially, feels like the soundtrack of my teenage years, even though I didnāt grow up in Bangkok.
I went through a short-lived pop phase to rebel against my parentās rock and trip hop musicā¦ one of my favorite albums was Soul Decision debut album because it felt like they were more āalternativeā or āedgyā. looking back at it now itās just straight-up boy band pop but they still had some catchy tunes!
1 of 2 albums I can think of at the top of my mind that I listened to in its entirety. This takes me back to that summer in 2013 when I was listening to this album non-stop along w some indie songs I discovered thru 8tracks (I donāt know if anyone else will know this site, it was a gem). Also it was the time of my life I was just getting to know freedom from being able to travel solo and/or w friends or just discovering life. Akin to a coming-of-age movie. š I donāt know if I make sense.
These four films somehow capture what my lifeās been like since graduating. the love, the dreams, the chaos, the rage, and that suffocating feeling I couldnāt shake.
