read "uncle vanya" by chekhov and watched "vanya" with andrew scott. incredible performance by andrew, although i’m not sure about my feelings on the interpretation as a whole.

I had to read this in my first year of uni for an English class, and tbh, I think it was the only book in the class I read all the way through. It’s definitely a more intense read, and I know a lot of people who don’t really love the writing style (especially the English version) but idk I really loved it! I think about that book so often and I’ll definitely read it again.
