I can’t call it a morning routine because i work night shifts so i wake up around 9/10 am. However , i had to trick my mind to be able to wake up In shape. Let’s go straight to the point : - to be able to wake up you should sleep, ironic Right ? Well hear me out, you can’t expect yourself to wake up at the same time as your alarm if you barely had your beauty sleep, sleeping early = waking up in shape ( yes i said in shape and not early, focus on the healthy sleep rather than waking up earlier). - to be able to sleep peacefully you should prepare it (Our elders were right, it’s that god damn phone) - i once happen to experience an internet outage for a full 24h so i couldn’t use my phone or laptop to watch anything, guess what happened ? I slept in the dark, with no noise around 2am, when did i wake up ? 8 am !! Without even feeling tired! - so NO screen before bed time ! Try it slowly (10mins - 15mins - 30mins - until u can ro a full hour) - the no screen time doesn’t mean staying in the dark tho ! Dim your lights as much as possible, read something (PAPER ONLY - no ebook no digital distraction) 5/10/20 pages doesn’t matter, just prepare your mind for peace and no distractions. - don’t overthink your night overthinking, use it to your advantage, instead of thinking something that stressed you, switch it to ā€œmanifestingā€œ your future, think about your next trip, imagine yourself already in that city/country, where you wanna go etc … (trust me in no time you will fall asleep) - one in position, keep your eyes closed, don’t open them no matter what, remember no distractions are allowed. Once you wake up, depends on you, create your own morning routine. - to wake up, stupid as it seems but TALK to yourself, yes ! Talk to yourself, say (i am awake i am awake i am awake, in 3 i will get off my bed, 1,2,3 and GET UP) - NO phone at all cost ! (avoid that dopamine hit please ! Stay in the silence ! Feel your body, smell the fresh morning air by opening the window etc…) - Drink Water first thing in the morning! -They call it internal shower or smth like that lol i don’t know- but it helps get you a bit more awake too. - wash your face, don’t be harsh on yourself, use warm water to wake up slowly, consistency is key, slowly you will switch to cold water. - maybe even take a fresh shower ! Showers help a loot to get the needed energy. - prepare your breakfast, try to avoid anything sweet tho, keep it healthy and simple. With those simple steps, you can add more and more to build your morning routine, you can add : - walking - cycling - reading a book - gym - listening to slow music as u prepare your breakfast and lunch for work Etc …

Don’t bring your phone. Check it before if you need to. Bring a cup of water. Literally wake up as you walk around the block. Trying to put this into my routine. You have to budget your time if you have early work in the morning, but it was refreshing.

I’m not going to share my morning routine because I am the mother of an infant and a toddler so obviously most people here cannot relate lol But this does not have to be complicated. get an alarm clock, put on the other side of your room. You will have to physically get up to turn it off. Then go pee and brush your teeth. Ta da! You are now awake. Chug a glass of water and drink whatever your preferred beverage is to keep it that way. I will say, if you consistently are so tired that you cannot get up in the morning, you probably need to be going to bed earlier.

during the week, my alarm goes off at 6:00 AM, somewhere between 6:00-6:30 is when I actually get out of bed depending on how up and at em I’m feeling. Once i’m up, I hop in the shower, get dressed n stuff, I make sure my cat has food and then I go make myself breakfast. I like to open the blinds, let the sun in, play some ambient music on my living room speakers, and try as much as possible not to look at my phone. I need my chill slow morning time to be at peace. if I woke up right at my alarm, I’ll brew fresh coffee (french press) and make a nice egg scramble with an english muffin. If I’m in a hurry I’ll do moka pot or just get the extra coffee from the last time I brewed a batch from the fridge and have greek yogurt with granola. while I eat, I’ll sit at my kitchen counter and have some dedicated screen time on my laptop to check socials so I’m not tempted to be scrolling on IG the rest of the day. trying to leave bad screen at home. after I have breakfast, if I have time i’ll take care of anything around my apartment that needs doing (dishes, laundry, cleaning the cat litter, etc) and then brush my teeth, freshen up, then head out and start the morning commute (usually around 8-8:30 depending on if I need to be in office at 8:30 or 9). I also fill up my YETI mug with homebrew coffee and take it to work with me so I’m not buying coffee out all the time. the morning commute is when I put on some more energetic music to hype me up, or if I’m in a rush I’ll play some calmer music to not stress about traffic to. whatever the vibe I need. then I get to the office and wage slave for 8-9 hours, but at least I got a good night’s sleep and a good morning’s breakfast to get me through šŸ™‚ā€ā†•ļøšŸ™‚ā€ā†•ļø

I can’t find the Creator and i am mad about it because i wanna credit the one who made sure to put this for free. I’ve found this website RetroPrint where they show the details of how you can make a Windows 95 customised theme on your phone (with over 800 icons app to choose from 27 of them are already made for the modern apps like netflix twitter etc - some graphics for the widgets too And 3 sounds.)

If there is one style that literally calms me is stippling. The endless dots, the slow process, the nuance effect, the final results. I just love it and appreciate it even more when i spend hours/days to finish one.

The fact that i can stay in bed warm with my phone or laptop and music in the background as i watch my favourite movies/series/youtube vids with a warm tea is simple enough to make me grateful for wherever i am today. Worrying about what I should wear to work is a beautiful thing because it’s a privilege that sadly some people can’t afford :( Complaining about to cook is a beautiful thing because someone somewhere sadly can’t even afford/have access to a simple bread piece. Literally feeling the warmth of the sun while standing waiting for the bus is a beautiful thing to cherish and be grateful for.
