From the title i think we already have an idea about where this post will lead to right ? Learning as a hobby is the best thing ever, no matter what you learn (from the different type of stones to how to build a successful business) it will always interesting to bring it to the table while talking with your friends or even be able to break the ice with strangers. To be able to make it a two birds one stone hit, we could mainly focus on what could hell us “survive“ on a daily basis. For exemple : - Financial education: learning how to budget, what to prioritise, the 24h hour rule before buying something, is it a need or a want, etc … - History : deep dive in the different paths human history is an interesting thing and if you analyse it enough you could even find “tips” that helps you in your day to day life — Buddha : genuine peace and happiness in simple life — Gandhi : how to deal with conflicts by staying calm — Mandela : understanding is better than revenge — Fall of the Berlin wall : perseverance leads to transformation etc … - Cultures in different countries : learn from other countries ‘ culture just like Japan and how they have a punctuality culture / discipline and routine etc … - Learning a skill : for exemple cooking but make it more fun, why japan use rise ? What was its signification in their history/culture, its nutrition value, how to make at least 10 dishes with rise etc … - Fashion : yes we can learn a “survival“ skill from fashion just like why such piece was created and how, learning to fix your ripped pieces as a form of anti consumerism
And much more to learn ... :)

I have a love for learning and have always been shown that knowledge is power. I think this appreciation for the process and act of learning has made me able to sustain brutal coursework without getting frustrated.

i love finally understanding a topic or concept, it’s so gratifying and empowering when you can apply new knowledge to your life even if it’s not practical i love being able to have in depth conversations about what my friends and i are learning and all the ups and downs that come with it to learn and grow is such a part of the human experience to me, but not just humans do it- everything does it the trees, the grass, your cat- to learn is mother earth‘s gift to us all

Whenever you find some field or topic interesting the chances are you can find some book, blog, or newspaper articles on the topic and research into it yourself. It doesn't even have to cost money if you make use of your local library. Also, because it's just a hobby you don't have to worry about understanding or being good at anything, although I think that trying your best to understand definitely enhances the experience.
Doing this also prepares you for the future as you'll have a wider breadth of knowledge and connections to draw on, as well as strengthening your researching skills.

In an age where we ‘make’ so much stuff to live as content for entertainment I’ve been enjoying making purely for learning. An artist I want to learn about? I’ll make a video about it. An old film process I’m interested in? I’ll write a page or two on it. Learning through making has me much more engaged with the topic I’m interested in as well as allows me to create stuff without the burden of worrying if it’s good. It’s like adult homework. And you can do it about anything. Highly recommend.

I can’t find the Creator and i am mad about it because i wanna credit the one who made sure to put this for free. I’ve found this website RetroPrint where they show the details of how you can make a Windows 95 customised theme on your phone (with over 800 icons app to choose from 27 of them are already made for the modern apps like netflix twitter etc - some graphics for the widgets too And 3 sounds.)

The fact that i can stay in bed warm with my phone or laptop and music in the background as i watch my favourite movies/series/youtube vids with a warm tea is simple enough to make me grateful for wherever i am today. Worrying about what I should wear to work is a beautiful thing because it’s a privilege that sadly some people can’t afford :( Complaining about to cook is a beautiful thing because someone somewhere sadly can’t even afford/have access to a simple bread piece. Literally feeling the warmth of the sun while standing waiting for the bus is a beautiful thing to cherish and be grateful for.

If there is one style that literally calms me is stippling. The endless dots, the slow process, the nuance effect, the final results. I just love it and appreciate it even more when i spend hours/days to finish one.
