Apolonia, Apolonia (2022) documenting a piece of life with itās ALL with a hand camera and without staging, writing or improvising is all it takes to make me fall in love with a doc, Lea really filmed years of Apoloniaās life with all the ups and downs in it, not only the character but her own too.
This is maybe my favorite documentary
Itās set in a small classroom in rural France with one teacher and a dozen or so kids of different ages.
I love this doc because it has no agenda - we simply observe the relationship between these kids and the teacher who is heading towards retirement.
Itās beautiful, itās tender, itās honest. It reminds me that kids will just cough with their mouths wide open
I love it
It tends to live on Kanopy jsyk xoxo ttyl
