i watched this movie the other day and it was so… okay. BUT i love rajkummar rao. he is a great actor and i think he is a little bit wasted on Bollywood.
it makes me sad that we create such sub par commercial films and they are still critically acclaimed because the other stuff is just worse.

I just watched this in the cinema last night and was completely bowled over by the plethora of opportunities they had to make it a good movie, and every single time they just did the exact opposite. It's STAGGERINGLY boring. Don't get me started on the fuckass wig they put my girl Tilda Swinton in. Also it's a musical. And I love musicals. And I did not love this one.
Also honourable mention to Emilia Pérez which I think is the worst movie ever made maybe. But I think you can watch EP high with your friends and laugh.

good bad: repo the genetic opera. the actual movie is amazing and funny with a great soundtrack, but it is pretty strange and relatively low budget
bad good: the neon demon (this is a hot take). it tries too hard to be ‘art house’ horror and falls flat for me. just really boring
