Maybe not the most heinous food combo to ever exist but I loveee eggs and ketchup. I honestly canāt remember what started my love for this, mightāve been just seeing my dad eat eggs w ketchup and copying him. Best way to eat it is with scrambled eggs + mixed in tortilla pieces.

I am obsessed with this humble snack. A sprinkle of salt + pep is all your really need. However if youāre feeling fancy (as you should be):
Cut egg in half and add a tiny squeeze each of dijon mustard + kewpie mayo. Sprinkle of salt + crack of pepper. Tear a green olive and at 1 piece to each half. Deviled egg craving quenched in a quarter of the time. Divine.

i love eggs.
i recently started eating an egg every day in the morning. i wake up, i work out, i make an egg, and i get to work.
in the summer of 2023 i was basically eating two eggs for every meal (i LOVE eggs and i was living on my own and i didnāt know how to cook). it got to the point where a doctor told me i should stop eating eggs. six eggs a day is too many eggs. who knew??
anyways, iāve refrained from returning to eggs because i know that they will suck me right back in. but life is too short to deprive myself of my favorite meal. thatās why i have reintroduced the one (1) daily egg allowance.
and boy does it give me a reason to get out of bed in the morning. knowing i can have an egg.
i make my scrambled egg with a spoonful of cream cheese. then i put it in a bowl with a side of blueberries.
YUM.
iām grateful for my egg reintegration šāāļø

Peach Pitās sophomore album āYou and Your Friendsā is such a perfect album. No skips at all, all the songs are so catchy and beautiful. My favorite tracks on it have to be Puppy Grin, Brianās Movie, and Shampoo Bottles. I feel like a lot of the songs on it are very nostalgic? Itās hard to explain, theyāre all about past relationships, platonic and romantic (probably where the album name comes from). Itās very easy to attach songs to experiences youāve lived.
I think the song Iāve most resonated with is Puppy Grin, just the fact itās about hopelessly devoting yourself to someone thatās not even yours to begin with.
Very easy to listen to, hope to get the vinyl soon, canāt wait to see Peach Pit this summer!!

Was thinking about the past and whatnot, reminiscing on senior year. It hasnāt even been a year since I graduated, yet it feels very far away already. Itās probably because Iāve settled into thinking of college and high school is not at the forefront of my mind anymore. Itās just crazy to think that Iām barely starting my spring semester of freshman year, when I had gotten so used to being a senior. Such is life, the cycle repeats.
Picture is from senior sunrise, old tradition where the seniors go to the beach dressed in all white and watch the sun go up. Doesnāt have much use other than getting good pictures for the yearbook and Instagram lol, but was still a nice time. I think senior year was only tolerable because of my friends, I really owe it all to them. We got breakfast after and showed up an hour ish late to school, good times.

I love taking a good nature walk. Back in high school I had to wait upwards of 3 hours for my dad to come and pick me up (come late junior and senior year they told me to just take the bus home), I made it a bit of a habit of walking along the backyard of my school, it was this huge grassy space with trees and a river further back. Thinking of it now, it wasnāt very big, but man the self reflection I did there was crazy.
Now I frequent downtown a lot because of school, so I just walk around getting lost, occasionally going to the parks nearby and just sitting and thinking.
