has made putting down + picking up books much easier, i don’t like to annotate on pages so the little “favorite parts” section on the back is great for notes, very motivating to see how much you read per day and try and beat that / finish the book as quickly as possible by reading more per day, has been a huge value add to the experience of reading as i’ve been trying to prioritize it more this year :)

using pokemon cards as bookmarks

a simple change that has added so much joy to my life as a reader and former pokemon obsessed child. i HATE dogearing my books -- i don't like how it looks or feels. Bookmarks are cool too don't get me wrong, but cards just add a little spice of personalization. Each book I read gets a different card that I think in some way relates to the themes/ideas/plot of the book. <3

a list of random movie recs!

I feel like I've been seeing the same 10 movies recommended online over and over again, so here's a few very random movies I've watched in the past few months. Not all of these movies are particularly incredible or the best movies ever made, many aren't even among my personal favorites... but they span decades and sub-genres and are perfect if you, like me, are interested in branching out and seeing what you like! pls drop some of your random recs below!!! :) (also, this is derived from a letterboxd list i have, so feel free to follow me on there or whateverrrrr) Here they are in no particular order, with some general vibe-descriptors: If you like ...
