I’m so tired of being boxed into pastel-packaged, cucumber-melon-scented expectations. Just tried Old Spice, and wow - it goes on so smooth, smells insanely fresh, and honestly feels more ā€œcleanā€ than most ā€œfor herā€ options. And if you think about it - toothpaste isn’t marketed to a specific gender, so why should deodorant be?

I’ve tried a lot of female branded antiperspirants and at the end of the day my pits always smelled something like…. not quite b.o., but not quite fresh? I don’t sweat a ton and I shower regularly and I’m not particularly stanky so I wasn’t sure why this kept happening. Like a strange, oxidized armpit product smell that I could always smell through my shirts and hated it! I saw on Reddit some girls were using Fiji antiperspirant by Old Spice, so I went and got some and let me tell you, it’s legit! It opens with a slightly sporty scent, but after five minutes the scent is completely gone and your armpits remain odor free all day and night. No b.o., not even a deodorant scent, just nothing. Chef’s kiss.

Not a girlie BUT I steal my wife’s deodorant all the time. The other day I went for a long run and didn’t have my usual deodorant so used this one and it held up great. The apple smell always makes me feel pretty, so šŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™‚ļø

Woke up this morning, thanked god my blankets TAKE UP SPACE ON THE MATTRESS, SO I WAKE UP ALL THE MORE ready for the day. They fill the time like PEOPLE! Like, conversations (fake) or how a new deodorant canister carries itself across DIMENSIONS AND WE CAN HARDLY FIGURE IT OUT! (IT ALL OUT!) Chokes you hard, and new, but we let it because we need it and because we have to AND CONVINCES YOU IT IS NOT THE FIRST TIME, IT WAS WHAT YOU USED BACK IN THE 2020 WINTER OR MAYBE IT WAS 2021 SUMMER OR WHAT YOU USED TO INHALE WITH YOUR FACE PRESSED TO THE HARD CHEST OF THE BOY YOU STILL LOVE (It felt like cement!), REAL SUBTLE THESE CANS ARE SUBTLE, until they're gone in a blink and the CVS is all out of your usual. And now you must say your goodbyes (kiss 'em!) until they wash back OVER YOU, when you're most unsuspecting (like a deer) in an unsuspecting room (the headlights). Then you must kiss it goodbye AGAIN! YOU NEVER STOP KISSING IT GOODBYE if it never stops CREEPING up on you, only if you couldn't smell it BUT WE ARE GLAD THAT YOU CAN. -Your friends at Old Spice Deodorant Factory. Thanks for being a loyal customer this year, take 10% off, ON US! :) I know this is the one this time (I'VE SWORN). I know my credibility dwindles more and more each time, I know (I SWEAR), but this time, THIS TIME, I think I really found it. None of them feel wrong at the beginning though-- THEY FEEL EXACT. Like, it's the right breed. THEN THEY GROW AND GROW AND ATTACH TO GROWING OBJECTS, THE ONES THAT HANG AROUND NOW, a cluster of deer on the run, entangled wool blankets, (or the talk I had with the boy I loved) AND DON'T FEEL LIKE HOME ANYMORE, it's somewhere else-- maybe under my sweaty pits.

— untangling a necklace with a needle for someone (my dad used to do this for me when I was younger, felt like such a delicate ritual) — sitting on a couch with someone (aka your current crush) and both caressing a cat that’s between you and the other person …a silent ā€žwe’re both here, coexisting, vibingā€ž moment — braiding someone’s hair (the gentle tug, the trust, the rhythm) — tuning a violin or a guitar (recently watched my friend do this and she was so intimate with her instrument, fine-tuning every string, taking her time… it was kinda mesmerizing) — asking someone about their perfume (I noticed you, I want to remember how you smell) — people in busy public places that close their eyes and hold still for a moment just to soak in some precious sunrays Loved this question!

Is a Soviet sci-fi film (by Andrew Tarkowski) that follows three guys who head into this mysterious area called "The Zone." There’s supposedly a room there that grants your deepest wish, but it’s a weird, eerie place that messes with your mind. The whole thing feels surreal and philosophical, making you think about life, desires, and what we’re all really after. It’s haunting, beautifully shot, and sticks with you long after it’s over

In German, Weltschmerz-literally ā€œworld-painā€-is that melancholic realization that the world, with all its flaws, suffering, and brokenness, falls painfully short of how we feel it should be. It’s not just personal sadness, it’s more like an intellectual reckoning with the gap between reality and its potential beauty. Right now, the world’s on fire (literally and figuratively), and Weltschmerz captures the vibe perfectly. Think of it as a big, collective sigh-beautifully sad, hopelessly existential, but also oddly comforting, like listening to a Lana Del Rey song. Or the 2012 tumblr era. When I was a teenager, I’d feel down out of nowhere-like a weird, weighty sadness without a clear cause. My mom would look at me and say, ā€œAhhh, Weltschmerz,ā€ like it explained everything. And honestly? It kind of did. It wasn’t about a bad grade or drama with friends. It was just there, this intangible ache tied to something bigger, like feeling the weight of the world without knowing why. the twist is: Weltschmerz, rooted in Romanticism, isn’t entirely hopeless. Yeah, it aches, but it’s the kind of ache that inspires. Great art, big ideas, it all comes from that mix of sadness and longing for something better. So yeah, Weltschmerz might be beautifully tragic, but it’s also a quiet relief, like sighing out everything heavy and feeling a little more connected, a little more human!
