the flora app is my favorite productivity tool to help me lock in!!!! iโve used it for years for school and iโm using it even in post-grad when i catch myself doomscrolling too much.
basically, you set a timer for how long you want to focus for. if you go on any other app on your phone within the timer, you kill the tree you were set to grow!!! but if you stay focused, you add a cute little tree or plant to your garden. you can donate money to plant a real tree as more of an incentive.
the killing a tree message actually makes me a lil sad, even if itโs not โreal.โ so it motivates me to focus and not kill my online trees ๐ญ
