some of the most gorgeous views on the east coast i think, my friend and i road tripped up there for a week and i never wanted to leave!! we spent a lot of time at otter cliffs specifically- running and jumping around on the rock formations, stargazing, and just listening to/watching the waves roll across the jagged rocks. we went in the summer but i'm hoping to go back in the fall time to explore other parts during peak fall foliage :)

For Boston, here are some music recs. A lot has changed as far as food, shops, etc. so I'll leave that up to other folks to weigh in. For NH and into Maine, it depends on how far north you're going. The NH and Southern Maine seacoasts are amazing, but Acadia National Park is kind of the crown jewel of coastal hiking/sightseeing. Mt. Major in NH is one of the best effort-to-payoff hikes around. Portsmouth, NH is great for walking around and popping into random shops and restaurants. Portland, ME has some of the best food in the country, but there are too many places to even list (Duckfat is a long-standing classic.) If you have more specific spots or interests, I can add more details!

I love visiting this park whether it’s clear and sunny or gray and foggy. Different vibes but always beautiful with the iconic rocky coast. The waves were pretty big today so it was a pleasure to take in the sights and sounds of them crashing in their ebb and flow, washing over the rocks, receding back into the ocean, rinse and repeat. It’s already breathtaking to be by the ocean in all her beauty and vastness and to be reminded of how small we really are. Rocky coasts like at Two Lights also offer that feeling of smallness in a temporal sense, as we only witness an infinitesimal moment within the grand timeline of coastal erosion, while sitting on the rocks that have been shaped and continue to be shaped by the ocean. Anyways, highly recommend visiting if you happen to be in southern Maine, healing is only a 20 minute drive from Portland :)

My homeland from my Mom‘s side. The water is blue as it is clear. The people are friendly yet frank. They carry the same mischievous smile that I do.
