imo interview mag has one of the most interesting creative teams of the kind of prestige magazine set , i think dara is a visionary & also they execute the concept of the magazine (interviews lol) in a way thatโs pretty straightforward but it grounds the rest of the magazine layout which is often really big & colourful
also i think thereโs something interesting & worth looking at in the classic tabloids , just standing in line at the grocery store you can see the same 5 or so big pop culture stories laid out in 5 different ways in different magazines so theyโre finding the key in the layout even if the content is basically indistinguishable . the visual language of tabloids has endured for so long itโs so striking & recognizable & thereโs something beautiful about that .
