this movie was seriously so good!!! keke palmer is a seasoned actor so i knew her performance would be on point, but ms. sza also really kills this role. is there anything that woman can't do?! i thought the characters were really believable and our two mains are just impossibly lovable, even alyssa who's lowkey making silly mistakes the whole time... i laughed, and i almost cried several times too! dreux and alyssa are better together, their collective brain is too powerful

The way she marries All American girl-ness with this intrinsic depth/soulfulness. She's always had it - it's why BRING IT ON goes so hard. Her Architectural Digest also shows she's just a nerdy little weirdo. KD is the best.

🤡you can replace cringe with really any adjective you like, but cringe is the one i gravitate to the most. living unapologetically as my truest self is the most important thing to me as i've gotten older. the right people will be in your corner, will love your "cringe", or whatever it may be. because there's nothing as freeing as being yourself.

i just saw this tweet and oh goodness. my heart hurts for the op, and the message is just so... spot on? energy that's unreciprocated seriously hurts so bad. when your whimsy isn't appreciated, when the simple joys you partake in are crushed by anyone, especially a partner..... oh no honey RUN. a relationship like this is so unfulfilling, you deserve a person who's all in on you finding childlike wonder in the littlest, most mundane things. for the dreamers, the idealistic, such as myself - don't let anyone dull your sparkle like this. that's all <3
