Where I'm from people used to give forget me nots to loved ones who needed to wander away. Most of the times a man leaving for war would give this to his wife as a possible last goodbye. Just that meaning we give this flower means so much to me.
Lavender is also my favourite flower, the smell gives me many nostalgic memories of my grandma's garden and my old home.
