when I want to escape for a bit I like to walk somewhere without a plan
I found this cute seaside village a couple months ago while trying to escape my uni deadlines
the best kind of walks are the ones where you don't really need to arrive anywhere at a specific time but do have a tentative destination. one of my favorite tentative destinations is the seaport. i like the cobblestone and the random shops and the being by the water and the knowing nobody.
i think in college i got so used to walking just for the sake of getting to a place, like a class or meeting. i am trying to go out and Wander more, led by instinct or curiosity and paying closer attention to everything around me. even better with a friend or two
