I don‘t know what kind of podcasts you‘re looking for other than what you mentioned, but The Broski Report is one where you never really know what you‘ll get. From the outside it might look like a generic silly blabbering pod, especially if you only know Brittany Broski from her memes. But honestly, it‘s really informative and interesting as well. For instance, Brittany is really into art/art history and there have been multiple episodes of her talking about certain works of art, their composition, meaning etc. Furthermore, she talks about a lot of her niche interests, her current worries/observations (both in a personal and a political sense) or fun experiences she had. It‘s really informative and interesting to listen to and I believe that it is a really good mix of jokes/silliness and deep talk/informative sections. Some episodes are more jokes and stuff and some are more serious. Of course, if the humour is not your cup of tea, I completely understand. But personally, it always manages to make me laugh. She usually uploads an episode every Tuesday. It’s on YouTube and Spotify. Maybe check it out sometime!

Brodie Lancaster and Kate Jinx consume a lot of media, high and low, and then talk about it with wit and care, as well as recommend a multitude of articles, items and experiences surrounding the chat each episode. A worthy listen. They have great taste. I gain so much.

Some I like are more produced and less indie but they're still more than people just sitting around and yapping about whatever people online are currently arguing about, so I feel like they fit the bill! Lateral with Tom Scott -- combo of trivia and riddles, nerdiest thing i've ever been into and that's saying something Escape This Podcast -- second nerdiest thing i've ever been into, listening to people do a table top game (think D&D) and their goal is to accomplish an escape room Weirdest Thing I Learned This Week -- bunch of short science stories Ologies -- long form, thoughtful interviews with experts in a variety of fields, many of which are quite timely You Are Good -- Diving into movies that are culturally well known and/or just favorites of the hosts, and getting into why those stories are compelling and what the creators of the movie are saying/trying to say with it You're Wrong About -- Getting into things that most people think they know about but there's way more to the story and there's often a fundamental misunderstanding in how most people think of the things (stanford prison experiment, donner party, stonewall uprising, and satanic panic are classic eps I recommend to everyone) Decoder Ring -- Answers why random pop culture things of the present or past became things in the first place American Hysteria -- Insights into pop culture and society (sounds boring with that description but I promise it's good)

Not on an emotional level - that seems impossible sometimes. Rather physically. Remind yourself you‘re attached to a body. Remind yourself you can experience the world around you. For instance, splash your face with cold water, multiple times. If you‘re cold, let warm water run over your wrists, it warms you up quick. Put yourself out there in the (chilly) wind and/or sun. Either open a window and stick your head out or - if you can get yourself to do that - really go outside for a walk. Could be a quick five minute stroll or an extensive one. Also helps clearing your head of any noise. Reconnect with nature while you‘re at it. Just touch your environment. Do it. Touch the leaves you pass by, touch the tree branches, step into puddles, pick up flowers, blow a dandelion. If you have the opportunity, (if you‘re living near a farm or similar) pet animals. Those things usually help me regain a bit of positivity or any (positive) feeling of being human at all. Hope this helps, slumps suck, but there‘s better days ahead. After all flowers need rain to grow, no? 💐

(no spoilers ahead) I went to see it together with my sister. I cried, she cried, we both crode. A lot. The first five minutes of the film already got me. Andrew‘s and Florence‘s acting is phenomenal. It all felt so genuine and real - which makes sense considering that Florence really shaved her hair for this and that the story hits home for Andrew because of his mother. My sister and I were honestly baffled upon seeing that they didn‘t receive a single Oscar nomination. That gas station scene alone deserved at least one. I rarely watch romance movies and I knew this one was going to be heartwrenching, but I really enjoyed it. They portrayed the ending in such a beautiful way, a way that is gently feeding you the truth whilst causing your heart to shatter simultaneously. It‘s the perfect movie to watch on a cold evening, with a warm blanket and your fav feel-good snack. And most definitely tissues. (Gave it 4 stars on Letterboxd)

usually I‘d share it in some way or the other share it with friends (if possible), write it down in detail or even sketch it out, helps me move on and eventually forget about it :)
