When you feel the sickness coming on, it’s best to prepare for the next couple days. Here’s some of the things I like to do: - Clean up: you’re certainly not going to want to do it when you feel like shit - Stock up on food: specifically, readymade meals and comforting foods. Also tea. - Set up your outfits: doing laundry and preparing clothes for the next couple days makes a much larger difference than you would think. Anyways that’s it I hope you feel better :)

i never get sick but i am sick today, and i so far have tidied my room a little bit, slept, watched a very low-stimulation show, and drank an acetaminophen drink. rest is definitely best, but you could also try drinking a warm drink, sleeping with a hot water bottle, putting a cool cloth on your head, reading a book or listening to an audiobook/music, etc. if you want to feel ‘productive’, maybe try writing or drawing, or crocheting/knitting if that’s your thing. feel better soon!

Don't wet your hair or if you have to wash it, dry it immediately after shower, don't let it air dry or sleep with wet hair. Wear socks ALL DAY EVERY DAY until you feel you're out of danger. Drink ginger, honey and lemon tea waking up and before going to bed Eat all your day's meals on time. Cover yourself to go out (wear a jacket of sweater, unless it's summer. If it's summer hot where you are: try not sweating and then going straight inside spaces with a/c) Don't put a fan directly in front of you (it will make it much much worse) Shower early or mid-day. Avoid night showers or windy weather (even if covered). Try doing all of these until you feel you're stronger or sure you'll not get the cold/flu.

I have have grown up listening to Dylan my entire life. Not all of his music, but damn near close. To me, it feels like a perfect sad hug. It may not make me feel better, but I'll feel less alone. But whenever I play his music in front of my friends they just don't get it. They look at me funny and I can tell they don't like it. I love my friends, and I think that they all have great music taste most of the time but now I'm embarrassed and wondering if I got caught up in the aesthetic of the music and he actually just doesn't translate that well decades later.

Completely instrumental and improvisational jazz, blues and funk fusion. Its a cornerstone of African psychedelic rock in my opinion. I highly recommend listening to Minlbelesh and avoiding Bati Bati.
