OMG TOO MUCH I FEEL LIKE MY MOTHER

Purring cat snuggly toy I bought for my cat Bunny when i had just adopted her as a kitten (I threw a lot of stuff in my purse because I moved recently lol), my dog Benny’s baby color and tag which I keep with me always, collapsible water bowl, loose cash which I very rarely carry, random old sale flyer, card for a gimmicky “haunted doll” museum (cursed place but probably not in the way they want you to think…), tape measure, Gas-X, ancient receipts, pens, My Melody notepad and old loose grocery list from said notepad, keycard for my apartment, USB block (? What are these called actually don’t tell me), ibuprofen, sunglasses, pill case filled with nootropics, empty cigarette case (notice the conspicuous absence of a lighter… I had my fun smoking but I decided it should come to an end after like three packs), scrunchies, wallet, key wallet, extra dog poop bag roll, claw clips, barrette, rubber band for some reason. And the bag in question which I will be cleaning out

Lip balm, kombucha, lemon cucumber water, feta cheese, headphones…

cocoa butter lotion, garlic, an edible every few days, pens, a feline companion, love and care, seeing deer in the wild, seeing bunnies in the wild, birdwatching, wildflowers, trail walks, oil paint, potatoes, boka toothpaste, curly hair product, perfume oil, comfy shoes, vanilla extract, curiosity, empathy, herbal tea, whimsy, fresh tomato... i think i touched all my bases.

being a cat parent is amazing

I have been selected by the cat distribution system twice! I found one in 2020 and the other in 2021, they were both kittens I found on the side of the road (Peanut and Spooky) one incredibly malnourished and the other fat (she had worms🤦🏻‍♀️) One thing I’ve found when caring for kittens at a young age is they need help going potty! Their moms would typically be grooming them and helping the potty process, but if the mom isn’t around a warm compress can be used, wiping the area in a downward motion will help stimulate them to go potty. Keep their faces clean, especially when you’re using formula still, it sticks and hardens quick! Potty training is so much easier the earlier you start, hold the kitten and gently move them backwards in the litter, you can even put the 💩 they may leave elsewhere to help them associate the box with potty time. NEVER encourage them to think hands are “toys“ best to introduce them to wands, crinkle toys, fake mice, etc. All kittens are different when it comes to affection and when they want attention, best you can do is take note of what your cat likes and dislikes as it grows and respect boundaries.
