Malasana squat is one of my favesss i love how it opens the hips and the chest simultaneously. i Think any pose that invites a sense of fluidity into the body is great in a yoga class - I love going to classes that make my body feel liquid

i don’t do yoga at all or know anything about it but i crack one of these at least once a day. i don’t do it in a meditative or planned way whatsoever and usually it’s just off the cuff and very chaotic but liberating nonetheless so i recommend. i think this is the sarvangasana pose?? i could literally stay in child’s pose for hours but i fear when i came out of it i would have a permanent red circle on my forehead. it opens the hips and releases built up tension, it clears the sinuses, it relieves headaches, it’s a good stretch for the shoulders, it stimulates the third eye point…yoga with adriene describes it as ā€œentering your own personal love caveā€ because when you open your eyes, all you see is the little spaces between your nose and your knees and your mat, and it makes me feel like i’m chillin in the womb again in the best way. if people hit child’s pose more often i think there would be peace on earth.
