As someone on the spectrum, I ask that you learn about autism and its effects on a person living with it. And I donāt mean reading about it on Wikipedia, I mean reading about peopleās lived experience.
āIf you meet someone with autism, youāve met one person with autism.ā
At the very least, know that not everyone is āa little bit autisticā and every autistic personās experience is unique. So youāll never really understand it completely, but you could learn to support someone in your life who has it.
