so many fun stories in this medium, something for everyone to find and enjoy. cool guys with swords and superpowers, intriguing mysteries, crazy adventures!!!
these are all kinda books i enjoyed during my late elementary school years:
the fog diver series by joel ross — i had a fascination with steampunk things as a child and this let me dive headfirst into the thick of it
tales from outer suburbia by shaun tan — or anything shaun tan for that matter. his art is incredible and daydreaming with his works was such fun. i used to take this book out of my elementary school library almost every week just to stare at the pages
a tale dark and grimm by adam gidwitz — silly and spooky. perfect! and the other two books are just as marvellous :)
the last wild by piers torday — i think it was a book of the year in my school and i ate up story time.
i know its a children’s book BUT HEAR ME OUT!!! it’s such a good book and if you know me then you know how much i love fantasy, especially when it’s dark fairytale based. Adam Gidwitz is an amazing author and adds a comedy element to these stories in the best way. If you’d like something quick, funny, and a little dark and quirky you’d love this series
we all have too many water bottles and other vessels for consuming liquid, i know i do. see how long the ones you have will last you, make it a little challenge, pass it down to your grandkids. f#%* it, anything can be an heirloom
