This is what going on Holidays is all about !! Such a specific feeling off these to me, they appeal to the same part of my brain as silly memes.
Also really great side quest to have when traveling; finding the perfectly ugly postcard is harder than u think!!
One of my favorite sections of any vintage store is the postcards/photo sections. You can usually find used ones that are full of love, and if you are lucky, draaamaaaaa. Oh, the things people wrote to each other about is so silly sometimes. A real sign of the times. You can be entertained for hours. Sometimes there are multiple written by the same people, so you really get to know the skinny on what their lives were like. You do need to know how to read cursive though, because every single letter is in the most insane handwriting you've ever seen.
If you wave at him heβll wave back with the MOST enthusiasm. Then heβll remember your face and wave at you every morning and evening. Weβve never spoken but itβs so nice to start and end my working day with a big wave and a smile :β)
Sometimes I just cry cause I get that sudden surge of like appreciation of having friends and it's like omg damn holy shit yknow, yall should try it idk...
