I picked it up as a way to try to curb my phone + video game habit, felt like it satisfied the same thing of using my hands and getting that short term accomplishment feeling. it's heaven! here's the first scarf I finished for myself after making scarves for a bunch of other people
been knitting a lot this month: a scarf, hats for friends, just started a sweater. feeling productive and a sense of calm : )
knitting is so fun and such an easy skill i recommend everyone try this. wool and the gang has cute beginner patterns and easy to follow intro videos!
its a hobby i picked up for reducing my anxiety through job interviews and now, its actually something i enjoy doing all the time! i started with some small projects - beanies, gloves and finally made a sweater last winter ❄️
