washing your hair in the sink
i stopped doing it when i stopped dying my hair and idk why bc it’s goated. esp once your hair reaches a certain length and deep conditioners get involved. plus i can give it a proper cold rinse! bc lord knows i'm not doing that in the shower.

I started washing my hair in the sink because as a curly haired woman i was tired of cleaning my tub after a session (TOO MUCH HAIR AND CONDITIONER). The sink is a smaller surface area. also i didn’t want to risk using all the hot water and having cold showers 😂

chiawase_ literally same! i picked it back up again bc the longer my hair gets the crazier the shed gets. i need so much deep conditioner that i would like to leave on for more than ten minutes.

But I’ve been washing my hair like daily or every other day with a color safe shampoo and conditioner instead of trying to extend time between washes. I tried everything but I feel like that’s just hateful guidance for me because i have fine hair but it’s incredibly dense and I have a LOT of it. I’m constantly bleaching and coloring it because I’m a hair model and I haven’t gotten in trouble with my stylist so i think it’s going well…. unfortunately can’t say the same about my hot styling brush usage he said those are canceled 😖 RIP because I still don’t know how to use a round brush to this day
