Okayyy hello another one of my fav songs!! I am trying to be more purposeful with my reviews from here on out.. I got recommended this song through le algorithm. In like 2022, I started listening to more shoegaze, dream pop, indie rock, idk what ever this genre is (genre is marketing tool anyways). So I'm glad this song made it into my feed. 2020-2023 worse yrs everā¦ I got to listen to music all day at my office job, so I found a lot of good music. I listen to sad music when I'm sad, and I was realyyy sad š¤£Crazy Town made me happy:) Definitely a feel good song for me, it never gets old! I fuck with Velocity Girl šÆšÆI love that around this time in the 90s small bands were getting picked up by college radio stations (which ppl should listen to more often) Sub Pop was also in its prime, and Velocity Girl got picked up by them. The album that this song is on, Copacetic, is spectacular and was recorded in less than a week!!! P good for a debut alb šš»In most songs it's the guitar that really gets me before the vocals or anything else. I like that the guitar sounds like ācleanā shoegaze. Its sounds so epic to me the melody is also catchy and simple yet it gets the job donešš»Her vocals are so soft and sweet šļøits also easy for me to sing in the car (bad singer) Canāt help the urge to jump up and down and go crazyyyyyy while listeningšBrings me joy<3 Honestly thats all I got for this review it just sounds awesome nothing specific..š¤ŖAlbum art also goes crazyyy fuzzy colors and genius text placement?... I likešAlso classic one girl in a band of boys

ā„ļøI always loved philosophy in school, itās been one of my favorite subjects to study. And with it, I feel there is so much value in the uncertainty that it often provides. while it was at first frustrating not being able to come to a concrete answer, Iāve learned thatās what makes it so important to the human experience. The person that has no tincture of their own philosophy is imprisoned by the prejudices they derive from common sense, habitual beliefs of their age or their nation. To truly open yourself to the world, and to truly take control of your mind, you cannot let those convictions grow in your mind without any co-operation or consent of your own deliberate belief. Uncertainty is inevitable in this world, and thatās ok. At a time where everything seems to be so absolute, be uncertain in your beliefs or ideas, itās a great step to growth.

šWhile itās not inherently a philosophy book, I really loved the moral lessons I took away from this book. Itās a wonderful read :)
