I know a lot of people read on ao3 but it’s not as openly discussed as much as wattpad, which is understandable. I want to be able to talk about the awesome fics i’ve read. I also want people to share their recommendations. I don’t really care about the fandom as long as the fic isn’t about real people i’m cool with it.
Do you guys have any works you’d recommend?

Unfortunately, I’ve tried some of the Goodreads alternatives like Fable and StoryGraph, I haven’t found one that has that same great community where you can also discuss books. Storygraph you can’t comment at all and Fable it just seems like no one really does. I’ll definitely have to see what other people recommend here in case there’s something better.

banger website, truly top tier. i'm really trying to get back into writing because my skills have stagnated and i've been in total art block lately but i think finally starting to consume more media and getting back into reading again is helping! hopefully by this time a year from now i'll be happier with my own prose, but we'll see :P

I find it boring when people only recommend abstract thoughts. (It's not like I'm above it, I've done it before and I'll do it again), but if that's the only thing you recommend, you might want to go to twitter or whatever place is replacing that site right now 😒. EDIT (2025): at this point, these are not even recs, it's just you displaying your thoughts.
I want to see things to read, listen to, watch, products, places. Go crazy. This is what this site is for.

I just got this app and it asked for a pfp, so I went to my pinterest album and found this. I thought it was cute. I loved strawberry shortcake growing up and i’m African American so orange blossom fits for my pfp.
