When i was 16 my aunt asked me why i had the hands of a working man when iโd never worked a day in my life. Being filipino is nothing if not humbling <3 Iโve always had the driest hands (not eczema, but of course i have it in other areas bcuz filipino ๐โโ๏ธ) and nothing has ever worked. A couple years ago i discovered the vaseline hydra healthy hand lotion, the one in the pink tube, and i do love her. But recently my girl louisa put me on to the caudalie hand and nail repair cream and wow โฆ i fear itโs over for miss vaseline ! Itโs crazy bcuz if u know me, u know iโm a lifelong vaseline brand stan. I guess itโs time to get my ass to sephora to repurchase this for 16 am*rican dollars โ good thing i got a gift card for xmas ๐
i was so terrible to my skin growing up and now it freaks out at 99% of products. that said, i started "slugging", aka applying an occlusive layer on top of a moisturizer two nights week and holy toledo, my skin is happy about it! after washing my face with just water, i put on some sebamed clear face gel (basically just hyaluronic acid, glycerin and some water goop), let that sit, then rub in a little smaller than grape size amount of vaseline on top. i wake up with really soft, dewy, glowing skin. vaseline is soooo cheap too. if you're nervous about this breaking you out like i was - it won't!
Everyone has one โ the OG in your vanity, the tried-and-true product you've used for years, lugged in every purse, and it continues to hit, every single time. Mine is the Vaseline lip therapy from any drug store. It lasts forever, it's hydrating, non-greasy, and easy to pack. Long live Vaseline.
Iโm a leo so naturally my hair is the mane character ;P Itโs been years since iโve had short hair and iโve been craving a bobiana. i forgot that this hair made me feel so flyyy ๐ญ
