Everyone deserves some yummy cookies so here’s my favorite recipe that I’ve been using forever. Hard to mess up so it’s great if you’re new to baking! If you don’t like chocolate chips replace it for something else! Baking should feel fun, not stressful! -1 cup of brown sugar -1 cup peanut butter -1 large egg (just a regular egg LOL) -1 tsp baking sodaĀ  -chocolate chips (however many u want :p) -Little bit of regular sugar (maybe 2 tablespoons?? Idk I just pour a little in) -Little vanilla (1 tsp maybe) -mix!!!!! bake for 8-12 mins, then let it cool for at least like 5-10 mins! They will be super soft when they come out but that doesn’t mean they’re not done! They just need to cool :)

not specifically a christmas cookie but i make these around christmas. the chocolate chip to flour ratio is wild lol 1 cup unsalted butter - room temperature 3/4 cup + 1tbspĀ Ā granulated sugar 3/4 cup light brown sugar, packed 2 large eggs 1/4 tsp lemon juice 1 & 1/4 tsp vanilla 1 tsp baking soda 1/2 cup of rolled oats 1/4 tsp cinnamon 2 & 1/4 cups flour 1 tsp salt 2 & 2/3 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips 1 & 3/4 cups chopped nuts (pecans recommended) mix together butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar.Ā beat in eggs, vanilla, and lemon juice. blend in flour, oats, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.Ā fold in chocolate chips & chopped nuts (it will be absurdly difficult). refrigerate dough overnight. scoop & bake at 300F for ~20 minutes* *they don’t spread if you refrigerate the dough for 24 hours & keep the remaining dough refrigerated as you’re baking them. also, i make the dough balls big (like a scoop of ice cream) & bake 8 at a time, so they can take several minutes longer than 20 minutes šŸ˜… it’s a little time consuming but worth it imo

super chocolatey and easy to make yields ~ 24 cookies - 1 box of fudge brownie mix (any brand) - 1/2 cup (1 stick) of unsalted butter, melted - 1 large egg - 1 cup of semisweet chocolate chips - Flaky salt (optional) 1) Preheat oven to 350°F. Line baking sheet with parchment paper. 2) Dump brownie mix (ignore additional ingredients on the box), melted butter, and egg into a medium bowl. 3) Beat with a hand mixer. 4) Fold in chocolate chips. 5) Scoop onto baking sheet, at least 1 inch apart. Flatten slightly with hand and sprinkle with salt, if using. 6) Bake for 10-15 minutes. Edges will be set and centers no longer look wet

My everyday recipe is by Preppy Kitchen. If I have time I like to brown the butter first. The biggest tip though is to let the cookie dough sit in the fridge overnight before baking. I know that sounds impossible but there is science behind it and the difference is huge. Here's Kenji Lopez from the Food Lab's explanation on why: "An overnight rest allows enzymes to break down large carbohydrates, enhancing the caramelization and browning process the next day to help the cookies develop deeper flavor." Godspeed good luck on the cookies 🫔

I hateeee when I’m on letterboxd and look at reviews and see someone say something like ā€œthis is so unrealisticā€ ā€œthis would never happenā€ ā€œwhen [insert] happened I immediately was taken out of itā€ā€¦. It’s a movieeeeee!!!! Sit down to enjoy the media, not to critique every little thing that seems slightly wrong about it… obviously there are exceptions but LOL do u know what I mean
