looking back now it was such an interesting movie but for me and my cousins we ate it up and it was such a big part of growing up we memorised the whole lullaby that sharkboy sings and created superhero personas after watching it and it was so childhood also mr electric looks hella creepy

SHORTS (2009)

It’s by the same studio as spy kids and shark boy and lava girl but was less popular. It was my childhood and has the same quirky and chaotic vibe but is definitely less tight of a storyline.

I hateeee when I’m on letterboxd and look at reviews and see someone say something like “this is so unrealistic” “this would never happen” “when [insert] happened I immediately was taken out of it”…. It’s a movieeeeee!!!! Sit down to enjoy the media, not to critique every little thing that seems slightly wrong about it… obviously there are exceptions but LOL do u know what I mean
