Itās so cold in my drafty old house and my girlfriend is I think allergic to temperatures above 62 degrees. I have a blue and red wearable sleeping bag from Poler Outdoor Stuff that is so warm and you can even close the bottom of it or put the hood up if you want.
so what if the low is 35 tonight? layer up (merino wool or warm synthetic base layers) and get your sleep system dialed (sleeping pad with high R value, 20 degree bag + extra bag liner). the phrase āsnug as a bug in a rugā is actually about me, right now. being able to camp in the cold allows me to enjoy adventures in a wider range of seasons and conditions. this is very important to me.
Now I can run around and play without being a little bitch about the cold. Plus I get to feel like Iām wearing pjs at work. I love the uniqlo heattech stuff but if anyone on this app has a rec for something that isnt as clingy to what Iām wearing over itā¦help a girl out
I get really chilly and I donāt want to put on a bunch of clothes in my own house. But lately itās been so cold outside (the low next week is -6????) that I turn up the heat to like 79 or 80 because itās an old house and fairly big and if I set it lower than that it gets so cold and drafty 𤔠I actually just got overheated for once so I had to open a window
