can’t believe i didn’t know of this album sooner. operates in a space between triphop and dream pop. sometimes beats are reminiscent of esthero’s breath from another but with occasionally moody vocals similar to mazzy star. my fave song track is the more synthy and ethereal “love in the darkness” <3 you’ll like this if u like sade, esthero, poison girlfriend, and/or men i trust,

Paris Is Burning immortalises and preserves the legacy and the stories of the people featured in this film along with the spaces, community and families they created for themselves in a society that consistently marginalised and discriminated against them.

i watched hamilton this week for the first time after hating on it for years (for no reason) and i literally cannot get this musical out of my head. i have watched it twice this week and cried both times. how can i move on from ‘who lives, who dies, who tells your story’?????
