pastramimami yay happy reading!! obv check your library first but if you canât find the graphic novels through yours readallcomics has all the ones i listed i think. also in particular if you read hunger games, maus, or raisin in the sun def check out interviews with the authors about why they wrote what they wrote (this is a good reading strategy i enjoy in general, i feel itâs useful when you feel like you donât âget itâ). also i know austenâs writing style is off buf if you can get past it in pride and prejudice the plot is soo juicy. and ballast is difficult to read in an ebook so try to get a physical copy if you can. anyway lol!! :)
marxinista oh also mary shelleyâs biography is super interesting. though if you donât want to read an entire one, her wiki page will also suffice lol!
Clockwork Orange by Anthony Burgess
Brave New World by Aldous Huxley
The Stranger by Albert Camus
The Most Dangerous Game by Richard Connell
Animal Farm by George Orwell
The Chosen by Chaim Potok
Catcher in the Rye by J.D Salinger
Flowers for Algernon by Daniel Keyes
Tale of Two Cities by Charles Dickens Not all of them are necessarily Highschool required reading, but they are mostly books I read around that time, and most are considered classics.
being traditionally cool is really quite boring and iterative, and itâs actually very cool and sexy to geek out about something you like or share bits of knowledge on a topic youâre passionate about
HAPPY INTERNATIONAL WORKERâS DAY!!!! i love having a union, i love being a union steward and getting to support my unit. when my union won its contract, i got a pay bump, better benefits, and increased protection as a worker. đ„ł
unions help address racial and gender pay gaps, issues workplaces impose on families and those having kids, addressing unsafe conditions, plus things like better health insurance, wages and overtime, weingarten rights to representation, and more!!!
if you donât have a union but are thinking about forming one, check out AFL-CIOâs page (linked) or Emergency Workplace Organizing Committee. thereâs always more power in a union!! âđ„đč
they have FREE SHIPPING through Friday (7/8-7/11)
