I don't hoard in real life, but if photos counted, I would be on a tv show about hoarders.
sometimes it's good to go back through your photos and delete the ones you just know you won't need. And yes, you only need one version of the photo. I promise.

📸okay what i do is every new year, I put all the photos from the previous year onto a hard drive (two, actually) and remove them from my icloud. I do this because a) apple cloud storage makes me feel like a digital serf and b) i think that having photos of the past 5-10 years of your life so readily accessible is kind of detrimental, it lets you look back yes but also robs you of the ability to forget! How can you evolve as a person if you're constantly able to dwell on the past with such vivid clarity. I found the camera roll did more harm then good, i'd recommend trying it out

ever since I lost all the photos I took on my iphone 5S back in 2018 I have SWORN to always back up my camera roll to each new phone I get my hands on!! I am SUCH a hoarder for screenshots and atp there’s just way too many to reasonably filter through so Ive just accepted that they all can stay. screenshots of conversations with people who I don’t even speak to anymore. Screenshots of assorted instagram memes that i wanted to send to certain people years ago. They all served a purpose once upon a time and now they get to retire into the depths of familiarity amidst the other masses of images I have no reason to keep. But I keep them anyway. Maybe in 50 years time when my body and soul is uploaded into the cloud I will be able to walk back down through my camera roll and relive the memories I decided not to delete. That would be nice

I just quite like the way my desk looks with the Austin skyline in the background. It's by no means a clean desk, but I like it very much.
There is a target bag over the lamp because when I record videos for my YouTube channel, it acts as a light diffuser. And I just never take it off.
