put this jellycat bat on my christmas wish list bc oh my god??? like cmon. but it was discontinued and sold out EVERYWHERE and the only place she could find it was on ebay for $500. lo and behold she surprised me with this today! for not $500! you could put anything on a wish list and she could find it for you. it’s a mum thing
some of these ive mentioned in the past but
- blythe dolls
- pullip doll (wearing penguin suit—the suit basically disintegrated as soon as i unboxed it though)
- hello kitty panini press
- 176pc ello kit (similar to legos but aggressively girly and futuristic)
- a ton of wardrobe essentials & many of my most treasured pieces!!
Reject modernity (Jellycats) embrace tradition (Steiff)
Listen, I too find jellycats amusing and adorable but you can’t really beat a classic Steiff! I find them to transcend toy into elegant and nostalgic tchotchke home decor (I type this as I look at my Steiff lamb perched sweetly on my tv stand). They possess a whimsy in their playful realism, like this fantasia-esque hippo:: good stuff!
*I am not the eBay seller but did link to hippo listing bc she rocks
mum called to tell me about this today, but it’s basically a 24/7 livestream that goes for 20 DAYS that films moose migrating north in sweden!!!!! it’s from a bunch of different camera angles, and even when there’s no moose it’s still lovely to watch. i did freak when i saw my first moose though. AND THERES A LOT OF MOOSE! it’s really awesome and moose are really awesome and it’s FREE! 1 billion/10 recommend
i have like a bazillion collection of things (eg jellycats, wishing stones, goosebumps books), but my ceramic frogs are by far the collection i adore the most. i will NEVER take up an opportunity to buy a ceramic frog. LOOK HOW AWESOME
