I’ve compiled a couple: - qpdf for renumbering pages (like when the first 10 pages are in the preface and are numbered i, ii, iii, etc.). You have to know how to use a terminal for this one. - Briss for splitting facing pages (like in a scanned book)

if you’re in the office 4HL you probably have regular access to a colour laser printer and a comb binder. take an hour to rummage in the copy room, go off-screen and make any book you want on company dime. print full colour copies of medieval treatise. learning the process is fun, also rite-like. I presented Breathing: Chaos and Poetry by Franco Berardi to my boyfriend (his request) who pointed out the pages opened back to front

if you buy some superglue and a pack of (strong) magnets you can make almost anything of a certain size into a magnet for your fridge! I don’t really like pins because idk what to do with them and have discovered just gluing a magnet to the back of them and putting them on my fridge! I had this epiphany while making clay magnets—an idea my friend had for a party at her house.

Sometimes I see a temperature that could really mean anything (like 50F could be sweater weather or coat weather) and I’ve found that seeing what people on the sidewalk are wearing is a good indication of how it feels outside! I know that there are only so many factors that go into perceived temperature (humidity, cloud coverage, wind, precipitation), but sometimes it’s still really hard for me to tell!

This changed my life, but just use whatever (with a lid) container you have (I use my dishwasher pod plastic container) and put it in the freezer!! It never smells bad that way and stays out of the way
