David Lynch is a genius and Twin Peaks is hands down the best show in TV ever. I love uncanniness and surrealism and what the hell even is Twin Peaks?

I think a lot of people get hooked on twin peaks before a lot of his movies. Twin peaks is probably goofier than his other films, and starts slow. But the characters are fun and itโs stylistically very cool. My favorite film of his is Wild at Heart (or Fire Walk With Me - but watch the show first), but eraserhead & blue velvet are David Lynch staples of movie-watching.

Filled with breathtaking stills & what can only be described as David Lynchโs madness, Itโs a great watch. The soundtrack is also absolutely beautiful, written by Angelo Baldamenti.

Issey Miyake collections are always so cool but this one stands out to me for demonstrating how much more fun clothes are with cool prints, which is not always seen on runways. Dries Nan Noten does this really well in his collections with flower prints appearing everywhere.

This is like Kurosawa watching King Lear and then deciding "but what if it was called Kingu Riiru" and make it all Japanese. I love the reinterpretation of the fool in this movie. Overall, it was amazing and looked stunning, though it felt convoluted at times. 4.5/5.
