Decided to rewatch the apes trilogy pretty recently and developed a particular fondness for the orangutan character, I think its name is Maurice. I havenāt been able to stop watching videos of orangutans doing diy projects, driving cars, making trades for food, witnessing magic tricks and having generally good interactions with humans.
I would love to befriend an orangutan for a day and go out on a jungle cruise with the fella, have an adventure, maybe give it a name if it doesnāt have one, probably something Shakespearean like Titus.
Iāve been told that this is an extremely autistic thought for me to have and Iām hard-pressed to disagree.

I donāt understand how yall end up at these random ass places you do, come across the books on ancient polyrhythmic science or whatever you read, listen to those indescribably niche tracks Iāve never heard of before or since, or host art installations from your makeshift garage, but I love hearing about every little bit of it, beyond fascinating to know all your stories and passions and the things that occupy ya mind and keep you alive. Itās like a big canvas comprised of different jagged pieces that all add up to a whole.
Iāve only been on the app for two weeks or so and itās already partly helped me heal from a lotta past grief and pain so Iām grateful to interact with yall.
