Recently, I’ve been feeling overwhelmed By societal pressures to achieve this big goal lifestyle. As of lately that’s not what I want out of life . I just want to appreciate the small things In life like going to the grocery store or going to the park for a walk. It’s not lazy I’m just happy with where I’m a in life!

Sometimes I just need a break from the hustle and bustle of life and to sit on the grass or bench in a quiet park. Listening to the leaves rustling in the breeze and the birds tweeting brings about a sense of calming throughout my body that feels so recharging for my soul.

idk abt u guys but life & work has felt especially hard & devoid of purpose. I’m tired of consuming consuming consuming & working working working so I can pay pay pay. I’ve invested so much time in fixing the situation around me that I have nothing invested in myself. So im taking it back to the simple things today. What a beautiful view, what a lovely fresh scent

Just lie on your back outside and watch the clouds. Sometimes I forget to just appreciate the beauty of what’s above me and it just felt so good to watch the clouds move around and change. It was so peaceful!

This is my favorite art piece, Dance by Keith Haring depicts this human motion that we all do in this way that shows it as a symbol of hope by using bright colors and not providing a face to the people dancing in it but showing them as diverse colors they're all dancing together. Especially during a time in which the AIDS pandemic was happening in Keith Haring himself suffered but he used his art as a beacon of hope for his community. hope is something we need to look into during tough time like now.
