I have gone through four tubes, a package change and even an entire formula revamp of this thing and I still swear by it. It’s the perfect shade of brownish-red, it’s shiny, and it moisturizes your lips. It’s not perfect for wearing masks, but it’s oh so great for leaving kiss marks everywhere you go.

Absolute New York glossy lip stain

HAND TO GOD, this is my holy grail stuck-on-a-desert-island-with-a-hottie-i’m-trying-to-seduce beauty product, and it’s like five dollars! It’s a long wearing lip stain - and LISTEN to me, because I know every product has that claim nowadays!!! I will not allege that one application lasts me a full day, but I’m sure it would on someone who eats and drinks and touches their mouth and kisses strangers a lot less. WHO WANTS TO LIVE LIKE THAT! What I will say about its staying power is that it fades away gorgeously - it won’t crumble off like a chalky liquid formula or rub off on a lover’s collar like a traditional lipstick. Apply this stain, let it set for a minute, add a lipstick/balm/liner/gloss on top if you’d like, and go out and liveee! You’ll probably only have to reapply once or twice the whole day. Perfect for girls like me who always want to be Spotted in a red lip but aren’t responsible enough to keep up with one all the time. The two shades I use the most are called ‘socialite’ and ‘femme fatale,’ appropriate as those are what I also state as my job title to first dates!

my school production

I scratched my right upper arm down the side of the wing extension of the stage (basically painted panels) and I still had to act dead (final battle in Les mis, I was a student among other things) so I lay there with my arm potentially bleeding and then I finished the last 20 minutes of the show. I checked my arm and by golly there was a large skin ripped scar down my arm (slight bleeding) which I had to deal with for the next 3 shows (yes ik torture, well so was my shower that night). Now I have a nice little scratch down the side of my arm (which looks pretty badass tbh) which will hopefully leave a permanent scar (weird request ik but I loved and breathed that show for months and now it’s been a few days since closing night and now I miss it) Anyway that’s the story of one of my many many scars and my most recent Have a lovely day <3

Born again (raye is an insane lyricist)

Yea it’s new, yeah it’s not that niche But it’s a phenomenally written song, and a gorgeously produced song (like you can’t tell me that funky bass isn’t unexpectedly perfect) and all 3 of them (Lisa, Raye, Doja) absolutely fucking killed it. Listen to Born Again (and watch the mv it’s so cool) (this right here a small shoutout to alter ego by lisa, great album I need it on vinyl asap)
