Its like genuinely scary, gives me goosebumps. Also I love long books it’s just nice to be on page 400 and still have 800 left. Stephen King is the best.

I’m reading my first horror novel (Pet Sematary) and am really enjoying it! Perfectly spooky so far and while I’ve always said I don’t enjoy horror, books are the way to do it because I can consume it at the pace I wanna- something scary about to happen and I’m not ready? I can walk away until I am. Very slay

I cannot recommend this book enough. King plays around with punctuation, italics, sentence structure in a way that really conveys the difference in conscious thought, subconscious thought, and spirits in a way I’ve been raving about since I first read it.
