Itās my all time favorite movie starring French bombshell Audrey Tautou and really the only recommendation Iāll ever have. Sheās a sexy gold digger. Heās a charming waiter. Itās chic. Itās romantic. Itās fashion. Itās French. Itās everything I want tied up with a bow.

Obviously The 400 Blows is the best one (and like the contemporaries many a source of my fashion sense) but the other four (Antoine and Collette, Stolen Kisses, Bed and Board, Love on the Run) just have Leaud and Truffaut operating on all cylinders, delightful romcoms but also heartbreaking at times
How did we stop choosing for ourselves and just accept whatever comes our way? Past Lives made me think about this.Was it fate, comfort, or just the right and wrong timing? At some point, we stop reaching and just let life happen!!! The movie lingers in that space between longing, acceptance, and what could have beenā¦
