Rec'd on 💎 what's something you consider tacky yet has been normalized, but it's still tacky nonetheless?

i am a hater of crocs forever and always, they are so silly and people wear them all the time at every event. however, i may succumb to peer pressure when the summer comes around because everyone at my work wears crocs on wednesday and i feel very left out. maybe i will wear them and just feel shame

Crocs the shoe

Ok I like them. In the house. Out of the house. On a plane. Grocery shopping. I can’t be bothered with bending over to tie a shoe or the slight extra effort of a slip on shoe or loafer. It's not like the snuggie. You don't wear them to pub crawls or get a bunch of people to wear them for a funny photo, they're not for that.

Affectionately and tragically dubbed my Naru-toes. This design was so hilarious it became my first ever croc purchase. I love the (removable!) pouches which add some extra visual weight to the shoe. An easy reminder to stay unserious (yeah, I wear them to the office).

crocs as indoor slippers

literally the most comfortable pair of shoes in existence... so much room for my toes and its not a hassle to slide my foot in at all! you can step into them out of the shower and not feel bad for making them damp and gross and most importantly, you can put on funny little charms to decorate... mine are absolutely atrocious and for my eyes only. i will not be sharing but use your imagination <3
